Call For Papers - CFP
With scientific and technological development since 21st century, modern hydraulic engineering focusing on people-oriented water conservancy has achieved greatly, while there are still a series of worldwide problems such as the shortage of water resources, flood and drought disasters, soil erosion and water contamination. In order to solve these tough issues and propel hydraulic science and technology exchange, and prompt water conservancy education development, China Association of Hydraulic Engineering Education and Xi’an University of Technology will hold “International Conference on Modern Hydraulic Engineering” (CMHE2010) on Nov. 27-28, 2010 in Xi’an University of Technology. All experts, scholars, researchers and technicians from Water conservancy-Oriented universities, scientific research institutions and related fields are sincerely welcomed to attend the conference which centers on basic theories, hot problems and frontier issues of modern water conservancy. By means of learning and exchange, discipline system will be improved; application technology development and high-tech utilization will be promoted; people-oriented water management will be developed; and the transformation from traditional water conservancy to the modern type will be prompted; all of these will ultimately promote the construction of a “Resource-conserving and Environment-friendly” Society.SponsorsChina Association of Hydraulic Engineering Education (CAHEE)Xi’an University of TechnologyCo-sponsors
