Call For Papers - CFP
WDN 2010International Workshop on Wireless Distributed NetworksDate and Location: September 26, 2010, Istanbul, Turkeyhttp://www.icwdn.org/wdn2010
We would like to invite prospective authors to submittechnical papers to International Workshop on WirelessDistributed Networks (WDN 2010), which will be held inconjunction with PIMRC 2010, 26 September, 2010, Istanbul,Turkey. Authors are encouraged to submit original, highuality research papers addressing the below stated areas.* IMPORTANT DATES:Notice!!***Notice!!****Notice!!***Notice!!EXTENDED TO 26 April, 2010 Submision deadlineExtended to 1 June, 2010 Notification of acceptance18 June, 2010 Final Camera Ready Copy26 Sept, 2010 Workshop* SCOPE:With diversification of wireless access technologies and theirapplication fields, the role of wireless access is no longerthe last hop terminal access, but also for repeating functionalitysuch as mesh/multi-hop/adhoc/sensor networking. Thereby morecomplicated wireless networking, especially radio resourcemanagement is required to well organize whole the networks. Insuch cases, it is almost impossible to optimally conductwireless resource management based on a centralized controlpolicy. Rather, distributed and/or cooperative controltechniques should be introduced in necessary parts in any layer, such as distributed antenna, cognitive radio, distributed MAC,and dynamic heterogeneous networking. Even in a cellular system,a distributed control strategy becomes a key technology forrealizing cooperative MIMO, BS cooperation and multi-hopcellular networks. The main purpose of this workshop is tosystematize an academic basis over the various topics inwireless distributed networks as listed below, and to discussthe adaptability of these new technologies to enhance theperformance of wireless distributed networks.* TOPICS AREAS:The main purpose of this workshop is to systematize anacademic basis over the various topics in wireless distributednetworks as listed below, and to discuss the adaptability ofthese new technologies to enhance the performance of wirelessdistributed networks.-ApplicationAd-hoc network, Advanced cellular network, Cooperativetransmission system, Heterogeneous network, Meshnetwork, Multi-hop network, Sensor network, Selforganizednetwork, Smart utility network, Wireless grid-TechnologyBS/AP cooperation, Cooperative sensing, Cooperative relay,Cross layer optimization, Distributed MAC, DistributedMIMO, Distributed RRM /Scheduling, Interference alignment,Network coding, Spatial spectrum sharing, Super positioncoding, Virtual antenna array-TheoryArray signal processing, Bayesian network, Convexoptimization, Game theory, Graph theory, Multi-dimensionalInformation theory* SUBMISSION GUIDELINESPapers should be in English, not exceeding 6 double-columnpages (overlength pages will be charged for). and should followIEEE paper templates. Papers need to be uploaded to theEDAS system. Accepted papers will be published in the IEEEXplore and orally presented at the workshop.
