    Workshop on Recommender System

    WRS2010 is the most important part of ICCSE 2010, and is the first workshop held in China for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent ideas, innovations, trends, experiences, and concerns in the field of recommender system. Our goal is to establish a platform to connect researchers in academia and industry, no matter from Chinese or overseas.

    Workshop schedule outline:

    ? Morning, Aug 25.

    (1)Keynote speech by Prof. Mitsunori Ogihara, University of Miami, USA.

    ? Afternoon, Aug 25.

    (2) Invited talk by Prof. Alexander Tuzhilin, Stern School of Business, NYU, USA

    (3) An open group discussion session. Five or more distinguished guests will be invited to have an up-close dialogue with all the delegates.

    (4) Several brilliant presentations after/before the group discussion.

    *No other panel sessions for ICCSE10 will be scheduled; all delegates of ICCSE will attend this workshop.

    The invited papers for WRS2010 must be written in English, and will be submitted to ICCSE2010, and be officially published by IEEE. Click here to submit a paper. All papers included in the conference proceedings will be indexed by IEEE Xplore, ISI proceedings and Ei Compendex. (Please visit the official conference website for detailed information)

    Registration.

    All accepted final paper submissions must be accompanied by a paid conference registration from the authors before they are published officially. The online registration system would be launched at June 2010. A standard registration rate is 2200 Chinese Yuan or 400 US dollars to cover one paper and one participant. One registration fee covers one CD-ROM Conference Proceedings, one Book of Abstracts, one free city tour, conference souvenir, and access to technical sessions, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, banquet and welcome reception. A special rate for a student is 1800 CNY or 300 USD.

    The delegates from related industries are warm welcome to WSR2010 and ICCSE10. You may submit a research paper, or register as an attendee of the workshop and conference with the product and algorithms presentation. We will be delegated if your company would sponsor this workshop or conference.
