At present, intelligent systems engineering-related research and application has shown the momentum of development in the ascendant, the rapid expansion of the research team, the rapid expansion of the research field, a large number of research projects were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Science and Technology.

Intelligent Systems Engineering is an important development in the field of artificial intelligence, in order to promote and display systems engineering research in the field of intelligence, exchange of intelligence in recent years, summed up the latest achievements in the field of systems engineering, the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence System Engineering Professional Committee organize a special workshop dedicated to the topic of ¡°intelligent systems engineering of new development¡± under 2009 International (China) Conference on Artificial Intelligence System Engineering. The main purpose of this workshop is to provide researchers and practitioners an opportunity to share the most recent advances in the area of intelligent systems engineering of new development, to generate new results in this relatively under-researched area, and determine directions for further research. The workshop is interested in topics related to all aspects of intelligent systems engineering of new development. Welcome to engage in the field of artificial intelligence research, teaching and application of science and technology workers, teachers and students of tertiary institutions, as well as all those who love artificial intelligence. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Theoretical innovation: theory of intelligent systems engineering innovations, including various types of mathematical model of intelligent method of intelligent control theory model, the theoretical model of intelligent systems, such as neural network theory, and other factors;

 technological innovation: intelligent systems engineering, intelligent systems engineering technology innovations, including machine learning, expert systems, knowledge engineering, distribution of smart, intelligent network, intelligent machines, intelligent control, computational intelligence, natural language understanding, machine Translation, machine perception, virtual reality, intelligent CAD, intelligent manufacturing and other technical innovations.

 Application of innovation: systems engineering involved in intelligence, intelligent engineering systems in various types of practical applications, including oil and gas exploration and development of intelligent systems, intelligent oil and gas monitoring and control systems, intelligent transportation systems, telecommunications systems and smart, intelligent manufacturing systems, military intelligence systems.

 Subject of innovation: intelligent systems engineering disciplines innovation system, intelligent systems engineering disciplines, including architecture, the architecture of knowledge, training targets and objectives of architecture, architecture materials, and so on.

 Results show: Intelligent Systems Engineering involves theoretical achievements: a variety of published papers, research reports, monographs, and so on; technology: patents, including technologies, such as the introduction of technology; application of the results: including all types of systems have achieved.

Authors should submit their paper via email: cise2009tom.com. All manuscripts for this special issue should be submitted electronically before December 15, 2008.

 Full papers submission: December 15, 2008

 Notification of workshop acceptance: January 1, 2009

 Camera-ready of accepted workshop papers: January 31, 2009

 Final advanced registration of workshop opens: January 31, 2009

Workshop papers will be published in a separate workshop proceeding in Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence System Engineering.

Conference registration fee:

The Conference registration fee (including space fee) to 850 RMB;

Only submission paper, the layout is charged 650 RMB.

Self-accommodation. Workshop assists in arranging for accommodation, return tickets and other services.

Essay:

1, submitted papers must be their own intellectual property rights to the latest research results;

2, the paper requested by Word Publishing, is not generally the length of more than 5 standard layout, the specific requirements attached.

3, in order to strengthen exchanges and mutual understanding between the authors please attached to 100 words about the main author at the end of paper. In order to encourage young scientists and technicians to participate in academic exchanges paper of high quality can arrange for speeches on specific topics.

4, the organizing committee agreed to encourage the professional leaders in special fields to set up seminars.

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Refereeing and the selection of papers will be carried out according to the standards of Lecture Notes of Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence System Engineering Professional Committee. Please, note that papers must not exceed 8 pages in length; a paper without figures can be around 4500 words maximally.
