1. Exhibition Description Solar photovoltaic is emerging as a major power source due to its numerous environmental and economic benefits. Installations of PV cells and modules around the world have been growing since 1998 and recorded a tremendous growth in 2009. There has been a continuous development of PV in established markets (like Germany, Italy, the US and Japan) and the emergence of new markets, such as China, India, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Morocco, South Africa, UK, Portugal and Belgium. Due to the growing demand for renewable energy sources and driven by the global market, PV industry in China is developing quickly in recent years. The government has also pay increasingly attention to solar photovoltaic power generation industry by established series of related policies in order to expand domestic demand. With boundless business opportunities here, PV Guangzhou 2010 is dedicated to provide a high standard international-oriented platform to the industry people to expand their market in China and aboard. 2. Review of PV Guangzhou 2009 The first edition of PV Guangzhou was successfully held from July 28 to 30 in 2009 with the strong support of industry people from all walks of life. The whole show has attracted a total of 53 exhibitors taking up 2500 sq.m exhibition space, including the famous PV brand such as Schneider, Trony, CA-Solar, Boostsolar, Ningzexin, Sky Resources, Boxin, Prostar, Yat-sen Microelectronics, Longrich, Sunnyway etc. It covered a wide range of PV products featuring new, innovative technologies and fresh business concepts. The solid high-end visitors organized have attracted over 13202 professionals to purchase on-site and make the exhibitors have many orders placed at the 3 days exhibition. 3. Guangzhou International New Energy Development Summit Forum 2010---Multi-party interaction, to promote the project docking of new energy By invite the Investment Manager, Cai Yanbiao of Invest in Denmark (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark) to introduce the invest advantage and prospects of Denmark new energy projects.
