    The explosive growth in telecom sector in Asia coupled with rapid innovations is throwing up not merely technological but a whole lot of management, regulatory and socio economic challenges. The solution to these problems can emerge from dialogue between researchers, industry practitioners, government and regulatory bodies.

    Towards meeting this goal, IITCOE (Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) Idea Telecom Centre of Excellence) - a public private partnership between the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (the leading business school in Asia), Department of Telecom, India and Idea (a leading telecom service provider in India) - is organizing a conference “Driving Future Transformation in Asia: Role of Telecom Policy, Regulation, Technology, and Management.”

    The objectives of the conference are:

    To provide a special forum to present and discuss research and development in telecom policy, regulation and management, especially those related to Asia. Implication of convergence and broadband will be the focus area.

    To facilitate sharing research based knowledge amongst academician and practitioners in telecommunications and related areas.

    To promote promising scholars in the areas mentioned above.

    The date for abstract submission has been now extended on requests from researchers/presenters.
