The 6th International Workshop on Service-Oriented Applications, Integration and Collaboration (SOAIC'10) (November 10-12, 2010, Shanghai, China, in conjunction with ICEBE 2010)Services refer to an abstraction of functional components and expose to the outside with standardized interface. The granularity of services may stretch across a standalone program, a software system, an application and an organization. Services could be simple or complex. Simple services have relatively simple nature and typically provide information to its users. In contrast, complex services may support complicated business decision and/or facilitate technology interoperability. Based on several promising features such as abstraction, coupling, autonomy, composability, services related studies, especially on the design and implementation of complex services which span across multiple platforms/organizations, have gained a great momentum from both research and industry communities for years. The 2010 International Workshop on Service-Oriented Applications, Integration and Collaboration (SOAIC'10) is an annual academic event since 2005. SOAIC has the mission to bridge the gap between business and information technology using service-oriented paradigms, technologies and approaches. It proves to be a successful international forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and experiences on service-oriented applications and technologies. The workshop seeks for paper submissions in a wide range of related topics including but not limited to the following:Applications of Web services and service-oriented architecture in real domains, such as commerce, entertainment, learning, government and healthcareWeb 2.0 based on service collaborationEngineering methods for service-oriented applications, integration and collaborationArchitecture for service integration and collaborationMethodology for service design and analysisService validationService discoveryService compositionQoS-aware Service selectionSecurity and access control for service integration and collaborationImportant DatesAbstract registration deadline: June 22, 2010Paper submission: July 6, 2010Notification of acceptance: July 22, 2010Camera-ready paper submission: August 5, 2010Paper Submission Papers should be submitted in IEEE conference paper format and should not exceed 6 pages. Each paper will undergo a blind review process and typically be reviewed by two to three members of the Program Committee. All papers will be evaluated based on relevance, significance, originality, clarity, and technical merit. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings of ICEBE 2010, which will be published by IEEE Computer Society and made available in the IEEE Digital Library. Please submit your paper through the following link: URL: http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=soaic10
Special Issue for SOAIC 2010 Best papers after expansion, review, and revision will be selected for an EI-indexed journal, "Service-Oriented Computing and Applications" published by Springer. For Inquiry For additional questions, please contact us at ciweilan
