Information processing techniques are an important ingredient of modern multimedia systems. The study profile provides knowledge in hardware and software components for processing, storage, coding, transfer, and analysis of various types of multimedia information (signals, images, video and data (text or script)).

Information processing has applications in communication networks, mobile ubiquitous systems, man-machine interaction, multimedia, medical informatics, security systems, biometrics, bioinformatics, and other areas of modern information society.

The main objective of the IMP conference is to bring together researchers interested in the area of the Information and Multimedia Processing to exchange the latest advances achieved by researchers and to foster the discussion of the future of this research area.

Topics:

We solicit submission of original ideas and papers describing significant results and developments from both researchers and practitioners in a specific range of fields addressing the following topics:

- Speech and Spoke language processing.

- Textual data processing

- Image and video processing

- Image, video and information indexing and retrieval

Submission:

Prospective authors should submit by using the online submission platform for IEEE CiSt'18 IMP conference https://easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?key=63193765.MOAKH6T0gvQOTgXh a paper of 4 to 6 pages max (including references) in scholarly English, using the IEEE template.

Registration fee covers a maximum number of 6 pages. There will be an additional cost for each extra page.

Accepted papers will be published in the proceeding and submitted to IEEE Xplore Library, Scopus and DBLP. Furthermore, Authors of high quality papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work for potential publication in a special issue/section of an international journal.

Accepted papers must be registered; otherwise they will not be considered for indexation. The first author is limited to submit a maximum of 2 papers and at least one of the co-authors of every paper should register.
