Towards a Sustainable Future:

According to research reports, the term ‘sustainability’ is explained as follows:

‘Sustainability is the property of biological systems to remain diverse and productive indefinitely’.

However, the term ‘sustainability’ has faced many challenges in light of environmental degradation, climate change, overconsumption, population growth, pollution and other related issues during the past two decades. The recently-concluded Paris Convention on Climate Change could be called as an eye-opener in this regard as it highlighted the cost of environmental degradations and climate change. More particularly, one has to focus on the following areas when we talk of ‘Sustainability’.

The following three terms are very important when talk of Sustainability.

Energy, Environment and Economic Development.

The primary objective of the conference places greater emphasis on focused discussions on sustainability and a secure future for fellow human beings and the future generation.
