Education 2011-2021 Summit15-18 February, 2011 Sydney, Australia Paper submission deadline 27 August 2010The Distance Education Hub (DE Hub) and the Open and Distance Learning Association of Australia (ODLAA) will host the Education 2011-2021 Global challenges and perspectives of blended and distance learning Summit. The summit has a focus on the three themes that underpin the DEHub and ODLAA objectives.Theme 1: Research and Development;Theme 2: Community and Open Learning; andTheme 3: Learning and Teaching.Keynote speakers presenting at the summit include:Diana Laurillard, Chair of Learning with Digital Technologies in the Faculty of Culture and Pedagogy with the London Knowledge Lab, UK.Mohamed Ally, Director of the Centre for Distance Education and Professor in Distance Education, Athabasca University, CanadaSugata Mitra, Professor of Educational Technology at the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences at Newcastle University, UK.Gráinne Conole, Professor of E-Learning in the Institute of Educational Technology, Open University, UK.
