IMPORTANT DATES:- Paper Submission: 15 October 2010- Tutorial Proposal: 15 October 2010- Acceptance Notification: 10 December 2010- Camera-ready: 7 February 2011SCOPE:The purpose of the SPL conference is to bring together leadingresearchers and developers in reconfigurable logic technology and itsapplications. The VII edition continues the tradition of previous onesto become the austral meeting point for the worldwide community in thearea.SPL2011 will take place in Córdoba, the second-largest city inArgentina, and will be hosted at the National University of Córdoba,one of the oldest universities in America. Called the Heartland ofArgentina for its location in the geographical center of the country,Córdoba has a strong colonial history blending with modern economicgrowth. It is considered the technological centre of Argentina whereseveral international software and electronic industries areestablished.We welcome original contributions in the areas of design methodologyfor programmable hardware, EDA tools, platform-based design,FPGA-based signal processing, communication networks and systems, FPGAarchitectures and teaching, reliable embedded computing, and variousFPGA-based computing applications. Authors are invited to submitoriginal and unpublished contributions as 6-page full papers includingtables, figures and references by 15 October 2010. Papers must bewritten in English and as in previous years, accepted papers willappear in the IEEE Xplore library.Continuing on our tradition to promote local and ongoing researchactivities, we are also organizing a Designer Forum at SPL2011. Theforum aims to give exposure to ongoing works, academic experiences andindustrial designs, and get feedback from experienced researchers andindustrial partners. Authors interested in contributing to theDesigner Forum are invited to submit 4-page short papers by 15 October2010. Prospective papers in this forum can be written in English,Spanish or Portuguese. Accepted contributions will be included in aseparate proceedings volume but not in the IEEE proceedings.We are also soliciting proposals for tutorials to be held at theconference.
