Call For Papers - CFP
The International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST 2011) will be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China during March 26-28, 2011. Nanjing was an old capital of China for six dynasties with 2470-year history and rich cultural heritage. She is now a modern metropolis featuring numerous historic and scenery sites. The recently opened high-speed trains can reach Nanjing from Shanghai in an hour at the speed of as high as 350 KM/hour.ICIST 2011 aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists, engineers, and educators to present the state of the art of research and applications of information science and technology. The conference will feature plenary speeches given by world renowned scholars, regular sessions with broad coverage, and special sessions focusing on popular topics. The proceedings of ICIST 2011 will be published by the IEEE with EI indexing. In addition, selected high-quality papers will be published in special issues of SCI-journals.Prospective authors are invited to contribute high-quality papers to ICIST 2011. In addition, proposals for special sessions within the technical scopes of the conference are solicited. Special sessions, to be organized by internationally recognized experts, aim to bring together researchers in special focused topics. Papers submitted for special sessions are to be peer-reviewed with the same criteria used for the contributed papers. Researchers interested in organizing special sessions are invited to submit formal proposals to ICIST 2011. A special session proposal should include the session title, a brief description of the scope and motivation, names, contact information and brief biographical information on the organizers.Papers of all topics related computational intelligence and its applications are welcome. The topics to be covered at the workshop include, but are not limited to, the followings:Computational neuroscience Connectionist theory and cognitive science Mathematical modeling of neural systems Neurodynamic analysis Associative memories Neurodynamic optimization Adaptive dynamic programming Fuzzy logic and fuzzy set theory Fuzzy-neuro-evolutionary -rough hybrids Fuzzy and rough data analysis Fuzzy optimization and design Fuzzy decision making Fuzzy systems modeling and identification Fuzzy mathematics Ant colony optimization Artificial immune systems Artificial ecology Swarm-based optimization techniques Swarm computing Particle swarm optimization Fish school search Stochastic Diffusion Search (SDS) Swarm robotics Artificial life Cognitive science Social evolution Grammatical Swarm Genetic algorithmsEvolutionary computation Grammatical Evolution (GE) Natural ComputingDifferential evolution Estimation of Distribution Algorithms Evolving neural networks and fuzzy systems Hybrid optimization algorithms Memetic and hybrid algorithms Nature-inspired computing and optimizationEmbedded neural systems Probabilistic and information-theoretic methods Principal and independent component analysis Hybrid intelligent systems Supervised & semi-supervised learningUnsupervised and reinforcement learning NeuroinformaticsSupport vector machines and kernel methods Fuzzy systems architectures and hardware Fuzzy pattern recognition Fuzzy image processing Fuzzy logic control and systems Data mining and forecasting Fuzzy information processing Fuzzy human interfaceAutonomous mental and behavio r development Classifier systems Coevolution and collective behaviors Cognitive systems and applications Combinatorial and numerical optimizationConstraint and uncertainty handling Cultural algorithms Computational intelligence in bioinformatics Computational intelligence in dynamic and uncertain environments Computational intelligence in economics, finance and marketing Computational intelligence in bioengineeringComputational intelligence in systems biologyComputational intelligence in computational biology and drug designEvolutionary computer vision Time series analysis Evolutionary learningRough setsSoft computingNiche technologyBlind source separationKnowledge discoveryEnsemble methodsMachine learning theory and methodsExpert systemsAutonomous mental development Pattern recognition Image and signal processing Robotic and control Telecommunications Computer networksSensor networksSocial networksRouting optimizationSchedulingCircuits and power electronicsTransportation systems Intrusion detection and fault diagnosis Hardware implementation Fuzzy internet and multimedia Fuzzy computing with words Granular computing Evolutionary design Evolutionary games Evolutionary intelligent agents Evolutionary learning systems Evolutionary robotics Evolvable hardware and software Evolved art and music Multi-objective optimization Brain Imaging and neural information processing Brain computer interface Web applicationsData fusionInformation securityNatural language processingIntelligent image/document retrievalsReal-world applications Representation and operators Self-adaptation in evolutionary algorithms Molecular and quantum computing Quantum computing Computing with wordsComputing with natural materials
