    Call For Papers - CFP

The 13th IUPAC International Congress of Pesticide Chemistry will be held concurrently with the 248th American Chemical Society National Meeting and Exposition in San Francisco on August 24-28, 2014. Congress delegates will have full access to the Congress and associated events in addition to the larger ACS National Meeting. The AGRO division of ACS will host the Congress, bringing it back to the USA for the first time since 1994.

The program will encompass both traditional chemical pesticides and biotechnology-based crop protection approaches. Furthermore, the theme recognizes a need for greater emphasis on public health protection. A focus on technology will widen the umbrella for a host of activities that are interdisciplinary. One of our objectives in choosing the Congress theme is to attract attendees interested in non-traditional “pesticides” including disinfectants and veterinary drugs, emerging environmental contaminant issues (such as consumer products and drugs in water), and technologies for application of products and implementation of nonchemical pest management strategies.

Sign up now to receive updates from the Congress organizers to hear about opportunities to participate in the development of the scientific program, apply for travel grants or awards, and to present your research at this important event.
