The 7th International Conference on Computer Recognition Systems CORES will be held in Wroclaw, Poland, in May of 2011. It is organized together with the 6th International Conference on Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems by the Department of Systems and Computer Networks, Wroclaw University of Technology.The CORES'11 Conference aims to bring together researches and to provide an international forum for the sharing, exchange, presentation and discussion of original research results in both methodological issues and different application areas of pattern recognition. The conference covers all topics in pattern recognition including:Classification and interpretation of text, video, voiceStatistical, soft and structural methods of pattern recognitionImage processing, analysis and interpretationFeatures extraction and selectionMachine learningTrends and relations recognition and analysisData and Web miningMachine-oriented knowledge representation and inference methodsKnowledge-based decision support systemsAdvanced signal processing methodsSpecial hardware architectureApplicationsThe list is not exhaustive. Papers on all aspects of pattern recognition, image processing and data interpretation are welcome .The conference proceedings will be published in Springer Serie Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing.Authors of selected papers will be invited to publish extended version of their works in several special issues of prestigious international journals (to be announced).
