    CALL FOR TUTORIALS

    4th IEEE International Conference on Internet Multimedia Systems

    Architecture and Application (IMSAA-10)

    December 15-17, 2010

    We invite the submission of proposals for tutorials at IEEE IMSAA 2010.

    Tutorial proposals should be submitted to imsaa10-tutorialatieee.org,

    no later than September 15, 2010 and acceptance will be notified by

    September 30, 2010. We welcome submissions for tutorial proposals in

    the following areas of multimedia systems and not limited to:

    * Convergent Communications Services

    * Security & Privacy toward Next-Generation Communications Systems

    * Mobile communication applications and application development (iPhone,

    Android, Blackberry, Symbian, MeeGo, etc.) in 3G and 4G networks

    * Cloud Computing

    * Multicast, Broadcast and IPTV

    * Green Systems (Smart Grid and Power Saving)

    * Any other topic that tutor thinks will be of interest to audience.

    Tutorial Proposal submission: September 15, 2010 (EST, USA)

    Notification: September 30, 2010 (EST, USA)

    Each Tutorial proposal must include:

    * Title of the tutorial

    * Name, title, affiliation, address, and a short Bio (up to 200 words)

    of the instructor(s)

    * A short summary (up to 1 page) of the tutorial proposal emphasizing

    its timeliness

    * Preferred length of tutorial (half-day/full-day, though half-day

    tutorial is more welcome)

    * If appropriate, a description of past tutorials, including number

    of attendees, etc.

    Tutorial Selection Procedure:

    Stage 1: The tutorial chair will check the suitability of the tutorial

    proposals and rank them so that a broader and more diverse tutorial

    program can be achieved. The proposals with the highest scores will be

    selected and the authors will be contacted within one month of the deadline.

    Stage 2: The authors of selected tutorials will be invited to submit

    the complete (a detailed, more comprehensive) proposal. Tutorial chairs

    possibly with the help of a small committee will evaluate the complete

    proposals and decide by using the ranking system.
