Call For Papers - CFP
Field of biomaterials science is progressing steadily and spreading versatile directions. Under these circumstances, an interdisciplinary collaboration must be promoted. In order to increase such opportunities, ICBS2011 in Tsukuba is organized. This symposium will accept basics and applications of biomaterials science, including biointerface, drug and gene delivery system, artificial organs, tissue engineering, biosensors and integrated microchips, etc. New approaches for bio-related subjects are also welcomed. At the same time, the symposium will celebrate one of pioneers of biomaterials science, Professor Kazunori Kataoka, for his 60th birthday. More than 20 excellent scientists will be invited from Asia, Europe, and the United States to the symposium. Contributed oral and poster presentations will be programmed. Topics All biomaterials science including Synthesis, Characterization, Biointerface, Drug Delivery System, Gene Delivery System, Bioimaging, Tissue Engineering, Controlled Release, Polymer Drug, Gels, Sensor, Artificial Organs, Biotechnology, Medical Applications, Industrial Applications. Excursion One night ONSEN-Tour at Japanese-style inn on 18th March. There is outside hot spring and enjoy Karaoke party!! The pictures of AOKIYA are placed on "Menu" page. Call For Papers Scientists and engineers working on biomaterials science and related fields are encouraged to submit papers on any of the selected topics. Scientists in other fields, who want to enter this field, are also welcomed. Further information including format for the abstract preparation and other details will appear later at this website.
