“Gender, Citizenship and Ethnicity” ConferenceInternational Conference on Gender Studies“Gender, Citizenship and Ethnicity”30 November – 1 December 2019 – Cambridge, UKorganised byLondon Centre for Interdisciplinary ResearchThe conference seeks to explore the past and current status of gender identity around the world, to examine the ways in which society is shaped by gender and to situate gender in relation to the full scope of human affairs.Papers are invited on topics related, but not limited, to:gender equalitywomen’s rights and women’s historygender and educationwomen and leadershipwomen’s and men’s healthgender and sexualitygender and religiongender and literatureThe conference is addressed to academics, researchers and professionals with a particular interest related to the conference topic. We invite proposals from various disciplines including history, sociology, political studies, anthropology, culture studies and literature.
