Call For Papers - CFP
Welcome to CrownCom 20116th International ICST Conference on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks1-3 June 2011 - Yokohama, JapanWhat's newDeadline for Special Session Proposals is extended to "15th, September, 2010" (Important Dates)ScopeRadio spectrum is becoming exhausted because of the growing demands for wireless broadband communications. To cope this problem, the paradigm shift from the conventional exclusive use of frequency resources to the flexible frequency utilization is indispensable for future wireless networks. Cognitive radio is a key technology that brings us an emerging paradigm of flexible frequency spectrum usage. By cognition of the radio frequency environment, cognitive radio terminals dynamically select the optimal frequency and transmission media with cooperation of networks. In these regards, this conference provides opportunities for researchers in both academia and industry to present the latest technologies and exchange ideas in the area of cognitive radio. The following topics are welcome to this conference.TopicsTrack 1- Dynamic spectrum access / managementWideband, cooperative, and compressed spectrum sensingMulti-dimensional dynamic spectrum access / sharingDynamic radio resource management / interference coordinationCooperative and coordinated multiuser communicationsMulti-antenna / multi-link transmissionFlexible PHY / MAC controlTrack 2 - Cognitive networksHeterogeneous networksCooperative networking / transmissionSelf organized networksLoad balancing and network optimizationCooperative radio resource managementCross-layer control for cognitive networkingTrack 3 - Modeling, regulation and standardizationsCognitive channel / interference modelingNetwork information theoryDynamic spectrum access in TV white spacePolicy based cognitive radio controlProtocol issues for cognitive radiosTrack 4 - Architecture and ImplementationsReconfigurable antennas and RF circuitsSoftware defined radio and flexible radiosHardware prototypes for cognitive radioCertification and security issues
