To help keep us all as up to date as possible, CMG is seeking LATE-BREAKING TECHNOLOGY PRESENTATIONS to be presented at the 36th International Conference to be held in Orlando, Florida, December 6th through 10th, 2010. As a Late Breaking presentation, we would expect that the information in the presentation would be something which has only become available since the regular paper deadline in June.

We are also interested in User Experience papers that talk about the real challenges or problems with the latest technologies that you tested or implemented in your shop, what you did to address them, and what solutions you found in the end. If you have had interesting times over the summer, we would like to hear about them.

The 2010 CMG conference will cover such topics as, measurement tools and techniques, load and stress testing, performance optimization, software performance engineering, resource management, capacity analysis, applied statistics and forecasting, simulation and analytic modeling, and cost management. This year, our conference theme is "Technology Exploitation and the Bottom Line" and there will be an emphasis on this.

Submissions at all levels are encouraged: introductory or advanced, tutorial, technical, or managerial. We require submissions (papers or PowerPoint slides with speaker's notes) no later than October 31, 2010 to be considered for inclusion as a Late Breaking Paper. The CMG '10 timeslots for Late Breaking Papers are limited, and decisions for acceptance will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Critical Dates for Late-Breaking Presentation Submission

Title, Abstract & Paper or Slides due: October 31, 2010

Author Acceptance Notification: November 15, 2010

Submissions should be e-mailed to the conference Program Chair at cmgpccmg.org using a paper or PowerPoint format as described under the 'Papers' section of the conference web page at www.cmg.org/conference/cmg2010/speaker-info.html. Look for the sub-title of 'Paper Format Guidelines' if submitting a presentation in a paper format, or look for the sub-title of 'PowerPoint Guidelines' if submitting a presentation in a slide format with substantive notes. Finally, CMG Presentation Policies will be in effect for all submissions which can be viewed under 'Papers'.

Authors will be notified of acceptance/non-acceptance of their presentation by CMG Headquarters via e-mail no later than November 15, 2010. If the submission is accepted, the e-mail will be followed by the hard copy official paperwork (license to publish, speaker disco unt, etc.).
