6th International Conference on Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering (ICMAE 2020) is organzied by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME), technically sponsored by Fudan University and China University of Mining and Technology. The conference will be held in Chengdu, China, from Dec. 17-20, 2020!

ICMAE 2020 aims at the crossroads between scientists, researchers, decision makers, practitioners and students from all the diverse domains that Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, Robotics and Automation, Intelligent Systems, Aeroelasticity, Aerodynamics and Fluid Mechanics, Flight Simulation and Mechanics, Dynamics and Control. This conference will provide a remarkable opportunity for the academic and industrial communities to address new challenges, share solutions and discuss future research directions. The agenda will include keynote speeches, plenary speeches, and invited/special sessions. Contributions are expected from academia, industry, and government institutions and agencies.

●Publication Information

All papers to be published must be presented on the conference. Selected excellent presented papers will be recommended to publish in the following international journals.

1. Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science (ISSN: 0954-4062), which will be indexed by SCI, EI, SCOPUS, etc.

2. Special Issue on Current Research Trends in Aeronautical Science, Journal of Aerospace Engineering，ISSN (online): 1943-5525, which will be indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus.

ICMAE 2019/2018/2017/2016 conference proceedings has been indexed by Engineering Village & Scopus.

●Keynote Speakers(Continuous update)

Prof. Ian R. McAndrew, Capitol Technology University, USA

An internationally recognized leader in aerodynamics research and expert on low-speed flight, Dr. McAndrew has five degrees: a PhD, two master’s degrees and two bachelor’s degrees. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. Dr. McAndrew chairs several international conferences and journals and is invited to give keynote speeches all over the world. He started his career in the automotive industry as an engine designer, and has worked at several universities across the globe. Dr. McAndrew is dean of doctoral programs at Capitol.

Prof. Andrew Rae, University of the Highlands and Islands, UK

Prof Andrew Rae graduated from Imperial College in 1987 and joined the High-Lift Section of the Aerodynamics Department at the Royal Aircraft Establishment (later DRA, DERA and QinetiQ), Farnborough. He was Deputy Chairman of the Technical & Scientific Board of the European Wind Tunnel Association (EWA) and within this framework was the focus for wind tunnel correction and advanced simulation methodologies. He was a QinetiQ Approved Technical Authority and, as such, the signatory for the aerodynamics clearance of flight test aircraft modified to accommodate trials or upgrade equipment, and became a QinetiQ Technical Fellow in 2008 for his contribution to applied and experimental aerodynamics.
