    5th International Symposium on Aviation and Aerospace System Engineering (SAASE 2021) will be held in Beijing, China, from 14 to 16 May, 2021, which is in conjunction with the 5th International Conference on Aeronautical Materials and Aerospace Engineering (AMAE 2021), SAASE is organized by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME). We warmly welcome prospective authors to submit your research papers to SAASE 2021, and share your latest research results and valuable experiences with other top-scientists, engineers and scholars from all over the world.

    ●Publication and Indexing

    Selected excellent presented papers will be recommended to publish in Special Issue on Current Research Trends in Aeronautical Science, Journal of Aerospace Engineering,ISSN (online): 1943-5525, which will be indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, etc.

    Prof. Ramesh Agarwal,Washington University in St. Louis, USA

    IEEE Fellow, ASME Fellow, AIAA Fellow,he has published more than 600 papers and has served on the editorial boards of more than 20 journals. He has devoted some of his efforts in nanotechnology and renewable energy systems - in particular wind, solar and biomass. Ramesh Agarwal’s current research interests include ground effect aerodynamics, flow control, rarefied gas dynamics and hypersonic flow, bio-fluid dynamics, wind energy, energy efficiency of buildings, chemical looping combustion and geological carbon sequestration.

    Prof. Ian McAndrew,Capitol Technology University, USA

    He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society , has five degrees, more than successful 35 dissertations, fifty-five peer-reviewed publications,and recognized as an international leader in aerodynamics research. His current research interests are aerodynamics and low speed flight.

    Prof. Kai Cheng,Brunel University, UK

    Professor Cheng is a Chair Professor in Manufacturing Systems at Brunel University London. His current research interests focus on design of high precision machines, ultraprecision and micro/nano manufacturing, smart tooling and smart machining. Professor Cheng and his team have enjoyed working closely with industrial companies in the UK, Europe, USA and Far East. They are working on a number of research projects funded by the EPSRC, NATEP Program, RAEng, Innovate UK program, EU Horizon 2020 Programs, and the industry. Professor Cheng is a Charted Engineer and a Fellow of the IMechE and IET, and honored as the visiting professor at Harbin Institute of Technology.

    Prof. Anatolii Kretov, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China

    Anatolii Kretov Doctor Eng.Sc. (1999), professor (2002). He graduated from the Kazan Aviation Institute (Kazan national research technical University named after A. N. Tupolev-KAI). A. Kretov has research experience with the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TSAGI) and with the Public Joint Stock company "Tupolev". Since 2015, A. Kretov has been a Professor at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His area of expertise is the design of high-speed aircraft and structures, as well as weight designing. He is the author of 80 articles and co-author of two books.
