Call For Papers - CFP
ACM International Workshop on Timing Issues in the Specification and Synthesis of Digital Systems (TAU Workshop) will be held in Santa Barbara, California on March 31-April 1, 2011. The workshop is sponsored by ACM/SIGDA and in-cooperation with IEEE/CAS.The 2011 TAU Workshop will be co-located with the ACM International Symposium on Physical Design (ISPD). The symposium will be held on March 27 - March 30, 2011.The TAU series of workshops provide an informal forum for practitioners and researchers working on temporal aspects of digital systems to disseminate early work and engage in a free discussion of ideas. The eighteen in the TAU series, the TAU 2011 workshop invites submissions from all areas related to the timing properties of digital electronic systems, including but not limited toAll levels (transistor, system, etc.) of timing analysisTiming-driven system design, synthesis and physical designSensitivity analysisFull custom design analysisIntegrated functional-temporal analysisTiming issues in low power design and testingPower-delay trade-offsDelay models and metricsLayout impact on timingTiming-driven layout optimizationTiming-driven synthesis and re-synthesisCircuit optimizationUncertainty-based analysisIncorporation of manufacture impacts to timingReliability impact on performanceProcess & environmental variation modelsStatistical analysis techniqueClocking, synchronization, and skewClock domains, static/dynamic logicNovel clocking and no-clock (Asynchronous) schemesTiming implications of emerging technologiesAll papers must be submitted electronically. Submissions are limited to 6 pages in the double column proceedings format. TAU is a workshop aimed at fostering a high level of professional interaction, not a conference. Copies of papers will be provided to the attendees, but the proceedings will not be published by the ACM or the IEEE. Therefore, accepted papers can still be submitted to other conferences and journals. The intent of the workshop is to encourage the vigorous and unfettered discussion of the latest ideas in the field.IMPORTANT DATESSubmission Deadline: December 25, 2010Acceptance notification: February 10, 2011 Camera-ready paper due: February 24, 2011Conference Organizers:General Chair: Florentin Dartu, Synopsys, Inc., fdartu
