Examples include control, planning and scheduling, patternrecognition, knowledge mining, software applications and strategygames. The ever-evolving needs in business both on a local and on a globalscaledemand better technologies for solving more and more complex problems.Suchneeds can be found in all industrial sectors and in any part of theworld. This workshop aims to be a meeting place where excellence in AIresearchmeets the needs for solving dynamic and complex problems in the realworld. The academic researchers, developers, and industrial practitionerswillhave extensive opportunities to present their original work, technologicaladvances and practical problems. Participants can learn from eachother andexchange their experiences in order to fine tune their activities inorderto help each other better. The main purposes of the MIWAI series of workshops are as follows:. to provide a meeting place for AI researchers and practitioners inThailand and beyond.. to inform Thai students about cutting-edge AI research via thepresenceof outstanding international invited speakers.. to raise the standards of practice of AI research in the whole ofThailand by providing Thai researchers and students with feedback fromaninternationally-renowned program committee.Invited Speakers + TutorialsInvited Speakers:1.Arun Agarwal (University of Hyderabad, India)2.Anthony Cohn (University of Leeds, UK)Tutorials (December 8):1.Siba K.
