    The knowledge economies that are coming to existence through this information revolution do not depend on the production of knowledge only, but also on the effective use of knowledge, which requires a fully integrated infrastructure and technical tools to achieve smoother and more interactive access to knowledge. The provision of innovated educational services, employing the latest technology is required to make the change.

    The Regional Center for Development of Educational Software (ReDSOFT) as a leading center in the Arab region focus on the development of education by supporting the effective use of information and communication technologies in educational systems, and monitors the latest advances in technology for the improvement of education and training. ReDSOFT decided to take the initiative and organize this important conference e-Learning Regional Conference (eRC 2011) to achieve a number of objectives.
