Mayflower Wind, the developer of an offshore wind project located over 30 miles south of Martha's Vineyard and 20 miles south of Nantucket, will host a virtual open house on Tuesday, May 18 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m to update the Southcoast, Cape and Island communities, as well as other interested parties on the project's progress. Mayflower Wind has the potential to generate over 1,600 megawatts of low cost clean energy, or enough to power a half a million homes.
