China's capital city, political and cultural center. Its economic growth is up by 9% over the previous year in 2009. Have more than 10 million people Permanent population, 17.5 % of population - 2.33 million people is higher educated and 24.1% - 3.19 million is senior secondary educated. At present, Beijing has a total number of 88 universities and colleges. 152,336 people were college graduates, universities and colleges’ enrollment number is 158,992 and 577,154 at school. Faculty staff number is 129,586 while 57,133 are full-time teachers. School building and construction area is 29,710,334 square meters, fixed assets total of 73.939 billion Yuan, including teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment assets of 20.095 billion Yuan. The city has 66 vocational high schools and 23,863 vocational high school graduates, for which enrollment is 21,559 while 66,132 at school. Faculty staff number is 9,009 while 5,508 is full-time teachers, School building and construction area is 1,375,225 square meters, fixed assets total of 1.902 billion Yuan. Including teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment assets of 483 million Yuan. The number of general secondary school is 647. Junior secondary graduates number is 101,811, 105.930 enrollment while 318,874 at school; High school graduate number is 70,132, 65,983 enrollment while 203,477 at school. Faculty staff number is 71,831 while 50,237 are full-time teachers.
