He is currently focusing on machine learning and statistical signal processing for wireless communications. His research topics in the past couple decades include machine learning for wireless signal detection and resource allocation, cognitive radios, cross-layer optimisation for spectrum- and energy-efficient wireless networks, OFDM and MIMO techniques for wireless systems, and blind signal processing. Dr. Geoffrey Ye Li was awarded IEEE Fellow for his contributions to signal processing for wireless communications in 2005.Prof. Shahram Latifi, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USAShahram Latifi, an IEEE Fellow, received the Master of Science and the PhD degrees both in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, in 1986 and 1989, respectively. He is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Latifi is the co-director of the Center for Information Technology and Algorithms (CITA) at UNLV. He has designed and taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the broad spectrum of Computer Science and Engineering in the past four decades. He has given keynotes and seminars on machine learning/AI and IT-related topics all over the world.Prof. Xinguo Yu, Central China Normal University, ChinaProfessor Yu Xinguo is the dean of CCNU Wollongong Joint Institute and a professor of National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning at Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China, senior member of both IEEE and ACM, and an adjunct professor of University of Wollongong, Australia. He is the chair of Hubei Society of Artificial Intelligence in Research and Education. He received B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Wuhan University of Technology, M. Eng degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, another M. Eng. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from National University of Singapore. His current research mainly focuses on intelligent educational technology, educational robotics, multimedia analysis, computer vision, and machine learning.Peter Han Joo Chong, Auckland University of Technology, New ZealandProfessor Peter Han Joo Chong is the Associate Head of School (Research) at the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. Between 2016 and 2021, he was the Head of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at AUT. He received the B.Eng. (with distinction) in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1993, and the M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 1996 and 2000, respectively. He has visited Tohoku University, Japan, as a Visiting Scientist in 2010 and Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Hong Kong, between 2011 and 2012. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, CUHK. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), UK.Prof. Songtao Guo, Chongqing Univerity, ChinaSongtao Guo is a professor and doctoral supervisor of The State University of New York at Stony Brook. Chairman of ACM Chongqing Branch, chairman of CCF YOCSEF Chongqing, senior member of IEEE/ACM, vice Dean of School of Computer Science, Chongqing University. He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer Science and Technology from Chongqing University in 1999, 2003 and 2008, respectively. He was awarded lecturer, Associate professor and professor in Chongqing University in 2006, 2009 and 2011. From January 2013 to October 2018, Professor at Southwest University, Vice Dean of School of Electronic And Information Engineering, Southwest University. He has been a professor in Chongqing University since November 2018. The research mainly focuses on mobile edge computing, mobile cloud computing, wireless sensor network, wireless AD hoc network and other aspects, and has achieved remarkable research results.Prof. Jimmy Liu,Southern University of Science and Technology, ChinaIn March 2016, Jimmy moved to China and became the founding institute director of the Cixi Institute of Biomedical Engineering (CIBE) under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He further founded the iMED China Ningbo team in CIBE focusing on ocular image AI research. In February 2019, he joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Southern University of Science and Technology and established iMED China Shenzhen continue to focus on ocular AI image AI research. Right now, iMED China team are devoting themselves to eye-brain imaging, ocular imaging, ocular precision medicine, and ocular surgical robotics 4 research areas.Dr. Zhao Yue,Southwest Communication Research Institute, ChinaZhao Yue is a senior engineer and Ph.D. of Southwest Communication Research Institute. He has presided over more than ten projects such as National Natural Science Foundation Projects, Key Technology R&D Programs of Sichuan Province, and participated in National Key Technology R&D Program as the person in charge of special topics.
