SSRA 2022 aims at the crossroads between scientists, researchers, decision makers, practitioners and students from all the diverse domains that Smart Systems Research and Applications. This conference will provide a remarkable opportunity for the academic and industrial communities to address new challenges, share solutions and discuss future research directions. The agenda will include keynote speeches, plenary speeches, and invited/special sessions. Contributions are expected from academia, industry, and government institutions and agencies.

●Publication & Indexed

All registered and presented papers will be included in the conference proceedings. The publisher will submit articles to Engineering Village, Scopus, Web of Science and other databases for review and indexing after publication.

●Speakers

Prof. Kaizhu Huang , Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China

Kaizhu Huang is currently a Professor at the Department of Intelligent Science, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China. He acts as associate dean of research in School of Advanced Technology, XJTLU and is also the founding director of Suzhou Municipal Key Laboratory of Cognitive Computation and Applied Technology. Prof. Huang obtained his PhD degree from Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2004. He worked in Fujitsu Research Centre, CUHK, University of Bristol, National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2004 to 2012. Prof. Huang has been working in machine learning, neural information processing, and pattern recognition. He was the recipient of 2011 Asia Pacific Neural Network Society Young Researcher Award. He received the best paper or book award six times. So far, he has published 9 books and over 200 international research papers (80+ international journals) e.g., in journals (JMLR, Neural Computation, IEEE T-PAMI, IEEE T-NNLS, IEEE T-BME, IEEE T-Cybernetics, Cognitive Computation) and conferences (NeurIPS, IJCAI, SIGIR, UAI, CIKM, ICDM, ICML, ECML, CVPR).

Prof. Jinsong Bao, Donghua University, China

Biography: Dr. Jinsong Bao is currently working as Full Professor in College of Mechanical Engineering at Donghua University. He received his PhD degree in School of Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2002, and went to University of Southern California (USC) as visiting professor in 2010. His main research interests include AI-assisted smart manufacturing, VR and Human-Computer Interaction Technology, Big Data & Industrial Cloud & Information Visualization Technology for Engineering. He has published over 40 SCI/EI Journals and hosted over 20 national & provincial fund projects in the field of AI, Intelligent manufacturing, Machine learning, Industrial big data and so on.
