IntroductionNowadays, multimedia communication plays an important role in multiple areasin human society including entertainment, politics, economics, militaries, industries, etc. It is urgent to secure multimedia data by providingconfidentiality, integrity, and ownership or identity, etc. Generally, multimedia security is highly services-dependable. Different servicesrequire different methods for content transmission or distribution, paying, interaction, etc. This workshop aims to bring together research work in thearea of secure multimedia communication, investigate the novel solutions forsecure multimedia services, and discuss the future trends for multimediasecurity in new services.TopicsThis workshop covers various aspects of secure multimedia communication inemerging services. The services may work in the following environment:Internet, mobile TV, IPTV, IMS, VoIP, P2P, sensor network, networkconvergence, etc. The paper may focus on architecture construction, algorithm designing or hardware implementation. Both review paper andtechnical paper are expected. The topics include but are not limited toLightweight multimedia encryptionSecure multimedia adaptationMultimedia content authenticationSensitive content detection/filtering based on multimedia analysisSecurity threats or model for multimedia servicesConditional Access and Digital Rights ManagementKey management/distribution in multimedia servicesSecure payment for multimedia servicesSecure user interface in multimedia servicesSecure telecom/broadcast convergenceSecure mobile/Internet convergenceSecurity in 3G/4G multimedia communication networksSecurity and privacy in multimedia sensor networksSecurity protocols or standards for multimedia communicationSecure devices (set-top box, Smart Cards, SIM card, MID, etc.)Intrusion detection/prevention in multimedia systemsDenial-of-Service (DoS) attacks in multimedia applicationsSubmissionThe papers will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press, available inthe conference.
