    Zambia is proud to host the 10th IEEE Region 8 AFRICON in 2011, following on successful events in Nairobi, Kenya (2009); Windhoek, Namibia (2007); Gaborone, Botswana (2004); George, South Africa (2002); Cape Town, South Africa (1999); Stellenbosch, South Africa (1996); Mbabane, Swaziland (1992); Abidjan, Ivory Coast (1987); Nairobi, Kenya (1983).

    IEEE AFRICON, the top-event of IEEE in Africa, is a forum for professionals, academia and industry to exchange ideas, present their newest research findings and to network. Be there for experiencing top-notch science and a vibrant social program at the beautiful Zambezi Sun Hotel, Zambia!
