The international and multidisciplinary conference encourages both professors from different universities as well as young researchers to take part if they share a common interest in one of the following scientific areas of interest:- financial markets;- financial crisis and global imbalances;- modern financial intermediation;- capital flows and their impact;- the stability of financial systems;- the current crisis of economic theory and the New Macroeconomics;- quality of public policies for sustainable development;- the new determinants of growth in the context of knowledge society;- any other relevant topic.Call for paperThe conference aims at bringing together academics, researchers and Ph.D students from various fields with a keen interest in financial markets challenges. The organizers hope that the participants will provide a broad overview on a large spectrum of topics concerning the economic and societal impact of financial markets in the context of a globalized world.Deadlines:Deadline for Final Paper Submission ? 28th of FebruaryNotification of Acceptance/ Rejection of the Final Papers - 5th of April 2011Deadline for the Payment of the Conference Fee and Final Deadline for Submitting the Participation Form at the e-mail address of one of the sections ? 25th of April 2011Guidelines for participantsParticipants are expected to submit papers (research papers, review papers, research notes, Ph.D. research in progress, case studies and essays) which have not been publicly presented or published before. All accepted papers will be presented at the conference.
