    REBSE-3

The Third International Workshop on Realising Evidence-Based Software Engineering (REBSE-3) will take place on Monday 23 May, 2011 as part of the 2011 International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2011).

The theme of our workshop will be one of developing an empirical body of knowledge (EBoK) for software engineering by reviewing the current extent of evidence-based knowledge and identifying where new empirical studies are needed. To help realise our goals, particularly for identifying where new studies are needed, we will be seeking to learn from any experiences of transferring empirical knowledge into practice.

As such, our workshop will be of relevance to all empirical software engineers (in terms of planning both primary and secondary studies), researchers in general, and practitioners who are keen to help create a sounder empirical basis for their area of research and practice.

Further details will be provided in the next few days.
