Remote sensing has become an essential tool in various fields, including agriculture, forestry, environmental monitoring, urban planning, and disaster management. It involves the use of sensors and imaging technologies to gather data about the Earth's surface and atmosphere from a distance. Geographic information systems, on the other hand, are computer-based tools used to store, analyze, and visualize spatial data.
