    Call For Papers - CFP

The Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress (SHBC) is NHG's annual flagship event. The theme for SHBC2025 is ‘Is More Tech Actually More in Health?’.

As healthcare undergoes rapid digital transformation, the key question is not how much technology we adopt, but how meaningfully we apply it. SHBC2025 challenges us to look beyond the novelty of technology and evaluate its true impact – are we achieveing better outcomes, greater equity and more meaningful patient experiences?

SHBC2025 draws insights from around the world—what worked, what didn’t, and why human-centered design remains vital. We turn our focus to Singapore, a nation well-positioned to lead this rethinking. With robust infrastructure, a strong digital strategy, and a culture of innovation, we want to redefine how technology complements holistic, patient-centered care.

NHG is already advancing this vision through the use of smart tools, redesigned workflows, and digital health literacy that empowers both clinician and patient. By bringing together global and local experts, we aim to challenge assumptions and co-create a future where technology empowers, but never replaces, the human touch at the heart of care.
