The 2nd World Symposium on Electrical Systems (WSES 2026) will be held in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China, during June 26-28, 2026. The conference is sponsored by Xinjiang University, IEEE, PES and hosted by the School of Electrical Engineering at Xinjiang University, with patronage from Tianjin University, the Institute of Electrical Engineering at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, North China Electric Power University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Sichuan University, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, China Electric Power Research Institute Co.,Ltd, and others.

We welcome you to attend the upcoming WSES 2026. This conference aims to bring together experts and scholars in the industry to share the latest research findings and technological advancements, as well as to discuss innovations and developments in the field of electrical systems.

After two blind review process, formal notification will be mailed to authors. After successful registration and presentation, papers can be published in WSES IEEE conference proceedings, indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus etc main digital base.

All submitted papers will be reviewed by our committees, and accepted one will be published in conference proceedings.

WSES 2026 proposals for special sessions within the technical scope of the conference. Special sessions supplement the regular program of the conference and provide a sample of the state-of-the-art research in both academia and industry in special, novel, challenging, and emerging topics.
