The International Conference on Industrial Applications of Energy Systems (IAES’11) and World Renewable Energy Network Regional Conference aim to attract the interest of specialists, academicians and researchers from the international community working in research areas related to Power and Energy Systems. IAES’11 Conference and WREN Conference allow the scientific community in Oman, the Middle East and around the world to exchange research and educational ideas and experience. The conference program will be chaired by international scholars and will focus on many fields of power and energy systems.

CONFERENCE HISTORY

Following the success of the previous Conferences on Industrial Applications of Energy Systems, Sohar University and the World Renewable Energy Network (WREN) are pleased to invite you to participate in the forthcoming international joint conference: World Renewable Energy ? Oman in cooperation with World Renewable Energy Regional Conference ? UK incorporating the 4th International Conference on Industrial Applications of Energy Systems (IAES'11. This Conference aims to provide a forum for the dissemination of information on renewable energy, environment and green buildings.

This year, the Conference will be conducted under the esteemed patronage of “TBA”. The Steering Committee and Advisory Committee are composed of key individuals from industry, commerce, government and academia from Oman and abroad.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The conference organizers encourage the participation of researchers, educators, consultants, engineers, investors, environmentalists, policymakers and the general public interested in power systems and the application of renewable energy technologies. There will be keynote addresses from internationally recognized speakers. In addition, invited speeches from professionals are expected to enrich the conference program. A wide range of technical papers are included in the program over the three day period.

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

Prospective authors are invited to submit a one page abstract, paper size A4, in English, relevant to the themes listed above. The abstract must include the title, authors' full name, affiliation, mailing address, telephone and fax numbers. Following the review, selected authors will be invited to submit their full paper, not exceeding 6 pages of A4, according to the format and templates supplied. The papers will be printed in the proceedings from the authors’ typed manuscript with soft editing and formatting. The papers must be presented by one of the authors, otherwise, they will not published in the conference proceedings. Detailed instructions to the authors are available on the conference website.

VENUE AND ACCOMODATION

The Conference will take place in the newly built Crowne Plaza Hotel ? Sohar, Oman. The hotel is furnished with 125 rooms, executive facilities, a gym and pool. The restaurant provides a varied selection of food. The Crowne Plaza will provide accommodation to Conference participants at a special, reduced, rate for the duration of the Conference days. All costs of accommodation and meals are paid by the participant and paid directly to the hotel.

ABOUT SOHAR UNIVERSITY
