    Call For Papers - CFP

The International Association for Boundary Element

Methods (IABEM) promotes and facilitates the

worldwide exchange of ideas and technical

information on the development of Boundary

    Integral Equation formulations and numerical

solution techniques, commonly referred to as the

Boundary Element Methods, and their applications

to problems in nature, science, technology, and

    engineering.

    Applications complexity and computational

capabilities achieved new peaks since the last 2006

IABEM symposium in Graz. New visions, problems,

and knowledge call the world of simulation to novel

    challenges in industry and research.

Following the success of previous IABEM meetings,

a four-day symposium is being organized at the

University of Brescia, Italy. It aims at providing a

forum for researchers in boundary integral

    formulations and boundary element methods:

    concepts, advancements in computing capabilities,

and under standing of this computational

methodology will be presented and discussed.

    The conference Language is English.

Registration is exclusively through the Registration

    Access on the website www.iabem2011.it

Registration for the conference is mandatory for the

    presentation of a lecture.

Early Registration fees up to May 1, 2011:

    regular Fee: 300?, students: 200?

    Regular/On-site Fee after May 1, 2011:

    regular Fee: 350?, students: 250?

Postdoctoral Fellows should pay the "regular"

registrant fee, not the "student" fee. No registered

participant will be allowed to give more than one

    oral presentation at the conference.

Fees include all Conference Materials and All Speaker

Handouts, Lunch tickets and Coffee breaks,

Conference Dinner, Monday night musical event.

Tickets for the Conference Dinner, Monday night

musical event, Social events can be purchased

    separately.

February 1, 2011: Submission of a one page abstract

March 1, 2011: Notification of acceptance

May 1st, 2011: Extended abstract due

After the conference a selected number of papers

will be submitted for possible publication on a special

issue of the international journal Computational

Mechanics. They will be eventually published after the

    standard peer review process.

Two special sessions are organized within the

conference. One is devoted to Industrial

applications of BEM. One aims at honor Prof. S.

Mukherjee and Prof. L. Gray for their

    outstanding contributions in BEM.

The Frank Rizzo prize will award distinguished

scientists in recognition of key contributions in

BEM. The Young researcher prize will select the

    best presentations in mathematical and

engineering aspects of BEM by a young

    researcher.
