    In recent years, new technologies have help evolve ICT as a medium of creativity and innovation. The application of ICT in various fields around us testifies developments in this sector. Being an academic institution that primarily dwells in Information Technology, it becomes the duty of MECIT to play a role in providing a platform for academicians and corporate personnel to exchange information that benefits the society.

    With this belief, MECIT announces its first Applied ICT, 2-day conference that aims to provide a forum to explore, understand and exchange approaches for successfully harnessing the potential of applied ICT through paper presentations, demonstration workshops and panel discussions. Distinguished speakers, corporate personnel and paper presenters will share their rich experience in an effort to highlight the best practices in a variety of sessions. It will provide academicians, students, educational administrators, researchers and industry practitioners and experts an opportunity to share knowledge, experience and expertise on benchmarks, best practices and latest developments in their field. This meet helps all to understand, create, define and recreate knowledge related to Applied ICT in various areas of operations.
