    ICT : bridging an ever shifting digital divide

    Technical Co-sponsorship of IEEE Communications Society is the most important news related to the FITCE Congress 2011.

    CALL FOR PAPERS

    The theme of FITCE 2011 is ICT BRIDGING AN EVER SHIFTING DIGITAL DIVIDE: therefore the goal of overcoming the Digital Divide will be the “fil rouge” of the Conference, attempting to identify technology, system, architecture, application, and service solutions to promote the economical recovery and address social issues through ICT, both for developed and developing Countries. We encourage submission of technical papers especially on topics related to this theme, but the

    Conference will cover all subject areas of interest both to the FITCE international community and to IEEE Communications Society members.

    Papers will be peer-reviewed by the international TPC according to IEEE ComSoc standard procedures.

    Accepted papers will be presented at the conference in oral or poster sessions, published in the proceedings and indexed in the IEEE Xplore digital library. The best paper will be selected for award.

    EXTENDED Paper submission deadline: 18 April 2011

    Notification of paper acceptance: 31 May 2011

    Submission of camera-ready papers: 30 June 2011
