PAPER SUBMISSION DEADLINE **** March 1st, 2011 p/>GOAL OF THE WORKSHOPThe workshop aims to foster cooperation among software practitioners andresearchers in order to exchange the latest industrial experience andresearch ideas on services and processes engineering focussing on securityrelated issues. The area of processes and services engineering is an ever evolving researcharea offering new challenges to researchers and practitioners. Research inthis area is devoted to the software engineering of service-orientedapplications and the goal is to provide effective solutions to thedevelopment, deployment and management of the resulting software systems. Securityplays afundamental role, since the resulting applications are expected to functioncorrectly and resist also to malicious attacks in different and changingthreat scenarios. Service integrators, software developers, and serviceproviders need to create novel methodologies, tools, and techniques to takeinto account the security issues related to the development and use ofdependable services and service oriented applications. Even if recentlymany standards providing basic properties and protocols for the securecomposition of business processes and services have appeared, manysecurity problems need to be addressed. The engineering of complexprocessesand service oriented software still lacks powerful, effective methodsand toolsto build better, more robust and more secure systems.THEME AND SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOPThe SAPSE workshop is intended to provide a forum for presentation anddiscussionof a wide range of topics related to the security aspects of softwareprocessesand services engineering. Following the discussions held in previouseditons ofSAPSE workshop, researchers and practitioners all over the world, from bothacademia and industry, working in the areas of process engineering,service-oriented computing, and security are invited to discuss state ofthe artsolutions, novel issues, recent developments, applications, methodologies, techniques, experience reports, and tools for the development and use ofsecureservice oriented systems.Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:* Trust, security, and privacy in service oriented systems* Secure business process composition* Risk management in business processes* Trust and policy management in clouds* Service dependability, survivability, and reliability* Design and development of secure service oriented systems* Security specification of service oriented systems* Certification of service oriented systems* Verification, validation and testing of security properties ofserviceoriented systemsIMPORTANT DATESMarch 1, 2011 : Workshop paper submissionApril 8, 2011 : Workshop paper author notificationMay 2, 2011 : Camera-ready & author registrationSUBMISSIONPapers must be submitted electronically via the Electronic Submission Page. The format of submitted papers should follow the guidelines for the IEEEconferenceproceedings. All papers will be carefully reviewed by at least tworeviewers.apers can be submitted as regular papers (six pages) and the acceptance willdepend upon reviewer feedback. All accepted papers will be published in theelectronic conference proceedings by the IEEE Computer Society, indexedthroughINSPEC and EI Index (Elsevier's Eng. Inf. Index), and automaticallyincluded inthe IEEE Digital Library. At least one of the authors of each accepted papermust register as a full participant of COMPSAC for the paper to beincluded inthe proceedings.
