    AIM and SCOPE

    The 6th "International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ELECO 2009" will be held 5-8 November 2009, Bursa, TURKEY.

    ELECO is organized as international conferences in odd numbered years and as national conferences in even numbered years. As such ELECO-2009 is the 6th international conference, with participants coming from various countries, presenting papers from the rich spectrum of electrical and electronics engineering. ELECO-2009 is jointly organized by Uludag University, Bursa; Istanbul Technical University (ITU); and the Chamber of Turkish Electrical Engineers (EMO), Bursa Section.

    The Conference aims to provide a forum for electrical engineers and scientists in academia and industry, to present their works and to share their experiences in the area of electrical and electronics engineering.

    Your contributions, presenting original work, are expected in the form of regular papers, special session papers, by the deadline of 29th May 2009.

    Proposals from potential Special Session organisers are also expected by the same deadline, addressing more specific topics within the general scope of the conference.

    From the broad scope of the technical program it was probably the largest international electrical and electronics engineering conference ever held in Turkey.

    Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire is a picturesque city located in the foothills of Mount Uludag amidst green countryside and forest. The city is filled with gardens and parks and overlooks a verdant plain. Bursa was and still is famous for its silk trade, textile manufacturing and thermal springs.

    Uludag is Turkey's most developed ski - resort and a wonderful place to visit all year round. The city's many good hotels are ready to host national and international meetings. The cultural heritage of the city includes monuments, imperial mosques, mausoleum caravan-serais, typical old houses and a covered bazaar dating from Ottoman times.

    EXHIBITION

    Limited space consisting of booths has been reserved for exhibits and demonstrations by corporations and businesses specializing in power, automation and communication technology.
