    2009 IEEE Workshop on Advanced Robotics and its Social Impacts (ARSO) aims at discussing advanced robotics R&D and its implications to economic and

    social systems. Participants will be world class robotic research scientists, investors and

    economists, as well as representatives of industry and government. The Conference is

    scheduled to consist of single sessions with ample discussions on cutting edge technologies,

    business opportunities and the social impact to economies and strategic investment. Papers

    presented in the conference will be selected and published in the ¡°International Journal of

    Social Robotics¡±. (Publisher: Springer).
