#Scope and ThemeHumans can usually infer another intention. This ability to inferis given names such as "nonverbal communication" and "thoughttransference". To construct the relationship between humans andthe environment in which inferring intentions is possible,sensor-network is necessary as for infrastructure. Humans canlearn each others habitual behavior over a long period of timebased on the five senses: touch, taste, hearing, sight, andsmell. Therefore, to construct a relationship between humans andthe environment, we need to incorporate these perceptive abilitiesinto the environment. The environment with these perceptiveabilities can be called "sensing-networks/sensor-network".However most important function to construct the "thoughttransference" relationship is "human behavior mining". Humanbehavior mining consists of the following: collecting a hugeamount information on human behavior from various sources, extracting the habitual behavior, and finally inferring intentionsbased on this habitual behavior. And to extract the habitual behavior the sensor data mining iscore technology. So, in this WS, we will discuss algorithms, system architecture, and application concerned about sensor datamining. Topics of interest (but not limited to):#Any topic related to "sensor data mining"* frequent pattern mining* sequential data mining* time series data mining* graph mining* path analysis#Program co-chairsMasayuki Numao (Osaka Univ.)Satoshi Kurihara (Osaka Univ.)#Scientific Program Committee Members (TBD)Gregory Cu (De La Salle Univ.)Katsutoshi Yada (Kansai Univ.)Masayuki Numao (Osaka Univ.)Satoshi Kurihara (Osaka Univ.)Stephen Intille (Northeastern Univ.)Taketoshi Mori (Tokyo Univ.)Toshiharu Sugawara (Waseda Univ.)#Submission and Important DatesAuthors are invited to submit a paper of 4-8 pages describingtheir original works. All papers should be formatted according tothe "IEEE transactions" as INSS main conference. Papers will bepeer-reviewed, and accepted papers will appear in the workshopproceedings.#Important Dates* Workshop Paper Submissions Due: April 1st, 2011* Notification of Acceptance: April 22th, 2011* Camera-Ready Papers: April 29th, 2011Submit your full paper (pdf) written in English, by e-mail to:iwsdm2011_at_ai.sanken.osaka-u.ac.jp ( _at_ ->
