Welcome to the 11th Iberoamerican Conference on Nursing Education of the ALADEFE and to the 3rd Latin American-European Meeting.

From 18th to 24th September, in the City of Coimbra in Portugal, we would like to offer you a whole week to analyse Nursing Education in the world, with a special emphasis on Iberoamerican and Latin-American European nursing education. This meeting is organized by the Latin-American Association of Schools and Colleges of Nursing (ALADEFE), the Nursing School of Coimbra and the Health Sciences Research Unit: Nursing.

It is the first time that this meeting will be organized in Portugal and the second time in Europe, so it will contribute to the promotion of the interchange of nursing training and research processes among the institutions in the Atlantic region.

The city of Coimbra, characterized by its warming spirit, history and academic traditions will represent an excellent meeting point for all of those who wish and are able to participate.

We would like to invite professionals in the area of nursing education, health care providers, nursing researchers and other professionals from other areas (in the area of health human resources training, especially in nursing) to participate in this Conference.
