Call For Papers - CFP
First International Workshop on Ubiquitous Human-Computer Interaction (UbiHCI 2011) encourages full papers and notes that reflect the breadth and scope of UbiHCI on Ubiquitous research, including conceptual development, empirical investigations, technological advances, user experiences, and more. All papers should clearly compare and contrast how the work relates to previous research or experience, what aspects of the work are new, and the major contributions it makes. Although it is expected that papers will focus on one or a small number of the aforementioned areas, authors should write for the broader UbiHCI audience, and make clear how the work contributes to the UbiHCI field as a whole. We solicit original research and technical papers not published elsewhere focusing on the following topics (but not limited to):1. Theory and ArchitectureUbiquitous and pervasive computingHuman-computer interaction in ubiquitous computing environmentsFormal methods in HCIUser centered design tools and methods for mobile systemsUser modeling and personalizationModel-based design of interactive mobile systemsMobile and ubiquitous data management and processingMobile user interfacesUbiquitous user-generated contentVisualization techniques for the mobile contextGroup interaction and mobilityMultimodal interaction (including audio and speech)Multi-cultural interactionContext-aware systemsExtending awareness, contextualization and collaborationEducation about HCIHuman-work interaction designComputer supported cooperative workArtificial intelligence and agentsUser modeling and adaptationSupport for creativity and learning2.
